    file size when adding files using samba

    I have a USB drive attached to DL. It is formatted as NTFS and has a lot of free space.

    It can create recording files 3G or 4G large.
    I can add files via Windows samba with size < 1G without any problem.
    But when I tried files bigger than 1G, I got error "There is not enough space on share. You need an additional xxx MB to copy these files"

    Any suggestion in settings so that I can copy larger files.

    Thanks.

    Try format FAT32 instead of NTFS.
    Fat32 is native to Android so less problems (4gb file size limit though)
    more info here;

    Try a different USB formatted in FAT32.
    Same filesize limitation around 981M. No error when copying files 956M.

    thanks
