Denny Hamlin is in great position once again to win.

Hamlin took home his third pole of the year after beating out fellow Toyota driver Martin Truex Jr., who will start in second.

"I'm pretty happy with it and look forward to 500 more laps of this," Hamlin told NBCSN after winning his 33rd career pole.

Hamlin will get the No. 1 pit stall which he was happy with after his round saying, "We'll take it."

He will be going for his sxith win of the year Sunday.

Also of note, Chase Elliott, who sits in sixth in the playoff standings, qualified second, but he will start from the back after blowing his engine in practice and subsequently changing it. However, because he qualified there, he will be able to pick a favorable pit stall.

Aric Almirola will start third while Michael McDowell will be fourth.
