T2P Keeps Forgetting Its Recordings

Does anybody else have this problem: every few days my T2P "forgets" its recordings. The playlist is empty, though (when I'm lucky) the T2P will go ahead and record future programs okay -- at least until it decides to forget them again.

When it really messes up, I have to reformat the drive to get recording to work again, but still it forgets again within a few days.

Any thoughts?

I do recording with USB drive and I don't have troubles.
make sure you have the latest software update
and also will help if you do factory reset.
