Can you possibly get MAC Address blocked?

Earlier today, like 2h ago. I tried to record or capture a stream with ffmpeg, just for testing. It wasn't even 5-9min. I am not even sure if that is allowed. I mean, I hope it is because capturing random streams with NextPVR is what I've been doing for the entire time I've subbed... it just recently came to my knowledge that you can do so with ffmpeg too, so I decided to test. Anyway. Strangely now that same device (laptop) wont let me load and see any channels but my desktop, my phones, everything load the channels just fine. NextPVR, VLC. Nothing can display any stream from that laptop. I also have 2 different Internet connections. I tried both. Restart too. No avail. Could that device be possible MAC Address banned/blocked for that??

Now it wont capture the stream anymore... time to pack bags.
