Yes, you can use a VPN with this service regardless of what you hear; I start up the VPN every time I fire up my box and have never had an issue.

Note: When connecting to your VPN make sure you are connecting to a server within the country you have your Rocket account geo locked to. If you're in Canada, use a VPN server in Canada. If you use a server in another country you will have issues.

It does indeed clearly state that. However anyone would be a fool not to use a VPN in this line of activity. They can be used and I have been using one and I strongly suggest everyone uses one and it is fishy this service doesn't want us using one.
