The Professor and the Madman (2019)

    Director: Farhad Safinia
    Writers: John Boorman, Todd Komarnicki
Stars: Natalie Dormer, Mel Gibson, Jeremy Irvine, Sean Penn

Professor James Murray begins work compiling words for the first edition of the Oxford English Dictionary in the mid 19th century, and receives over 10,000 entries from a patient at Broadmoor Criminal Lunatic Asylum, Dr. William Minor.

    Wow!!!
If you want to know how in depth an undertaking like creating a dictionary of every word in a language and published, well just wow.. this movie shows that.
Mel Gibson plays the guy that can get it done after many spent literally years and years trying. But Mel's character gets help. And that comes from a guy, a doctor in his field, but he is been in an insane asylum. He needed a rest

    Based on true events.
"The illusion of freedom will continue for as long as it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will take down the scenery, move the tables and chairs out of the way, then they will pull back the curtains and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater."

Great movie. The acting and story are excellent. In addition, I learned about treatment of mental disease and law long ago.

    IMHO, young people can watch
