They seem to be asking just that..... Questioning what Mag would be a good replacement for the one he has. I would like to know that myself as I have had this workhorse (254) since the beginning. I think the sub info they offered was to hint at what Mag box would work best with that service. That's my take anyway. And yes, it would be nice to see some recommendations of Mag boxes that are easy to setup and dependable like my trusty 254 has generally been. Maybe a Mag box with some more punch in the processor and memory department.

Informir classifies there current Mag models into 3 classes.
They had a Hybrid class which included the Mag475 but that has since been discontinued.

    1. IPTV Set-Top Boxes
    Mag254/255
    Mag322 -new
    Mag256/257 including the w1 and w2 models
    Mag324 -new
    Mag424/424w3 -coming soon

    2. Android STBs
    Mag410
    Mag424w3 -coming soon

    3. Premium STBs
    Mag349
    Mag351

    Code:

*note that some will have both the IPTV Middleware (Ministra TV Platform-formally known as Stalker) and also run an Android Operating System, like the Mag410 or the Mag424w3 models.
*the w defines built in WiFi mod.
