Thanks again guys, it has to be this make of the box because I have tried that
with the remote that came with the box and also with the Rii8 and it will not change
to group with either.

If you are referring to the mouse/cursor function on the remote, that is not what I suggested.
Most Android apps, including Perfect Player, will not accept the emulated cursor Click location or click command from a remote (cursor will move but OK button press is not recognized as a mouse click)
Plug in an actual mouse.

*Just for clarification...
What I am referring to is with a mouse, click and hold a scroll button then slide along the scroll bar.
With a Remote you can click and hold but you cannot then scroll or move.
