Because it's too long of a pull especially in a rental
i can not tell you why you can not connect to wifi but if it works hard wired try using a TP-Link AV600 Nano Powerline Adapter or some thing like that, if you cant run a Ethernet cord.
I'll consider it just sucks to have another patch for a wifi enabled device. I maeed with the channels and no luck. Honestly only one other network in the other side of the spectrum anyways that wouldn't interfere.
