As I said it’s a guess on my part, based on other information that I know about a similar box.
I am not sure weather Playstore is there or not, but with sideloding you do not need playstore. All you need is the app or apk installer (file browser or something simalar) and the apk itself of any given app , which can be found online thru a search.

dizzurp may be able to expand on the playstore thing

Exactly this. Sideloading means installing from methods outside of the official sources (i.e. Play Store) and instead from local sources such as a USB or another computer.

They have an aptoide installer pre-installed but it crashes no matter what you type in. Ah... hopefully we can get to the bottom of this..

Hey if any Dreamlink devs are watching can we get Netflix, Kodi, and TTV??

    From Dreamlink:

Dlite and dlite+ is same at structure side. Only difference is main cpu. Others are all same

Dlite is designed only for iptv purpose with some pre install apk.
Out of them, users can not install other apk to dlite.
The way it not allow to install is correct.
In case he wants to use other apk, please let him do thru t2 or t1.

Ok, so they blocked it from a software level which we do not have access to. I see.

Well, then what's the purpose of the aptoide installer?

Instead of two VPN apps and the "freeTVpro" app, they should just replace those with Kodi.

Anyway, thanks for the quick response!

By the way, is there any way to get into the recovery of these boxes?

If I could get into the recovery then I'm sure there's some way I could install an APK from there.

    Yeah I figured

Oh well. Let's just hope they bring Netflix or Kodi with the next firmware update that's really all we need anyway.

Didn't think you can install APKS on Dreamlink Dlites/Dlite+ and Formuler Nanos as thats there dedicated IPTV box only.

Installer normally there only for developers.
