My friend had the same problem and found out later that his kid had changed to a higher resolution thinking he would get a better picture but it locked down his mag from loading.If you make changes in BIOS make sure you hit EXIT & SAVE.My bios settings are (720p-60)(1280x720)(nand).

Are You doing what this shows at 1:02 in...?!?

Not sure but, I have a MX Box that looks similar to Your STB, in the back there is the AV Port and I can stick a wooden Toothpick inside slowly till it bottoms out and then I can fell a Click which is another way to Re-Boot and Reset the STB...!
