m3u playlist and HD channels

I put it there not long ago. That linked list is updated regularly and should be current

Go back and check the date of tinieBlax Post. It is from 2016!!! ...LOL

Channels in the Post are Open (Remote).
Many are local to their Region and guide data is not readily available.

Guide info for HD channels requires more work than you might think!
It will be added.
I just don't like doing little bits again and again.

What I do on my playlist (and I have combined from 3 different providers) is just label the tvg-name=xxxxxxxx with the generic name so it doesn't matter what the actual channel is, the guide gets populated. So if the actual channel is SD or HD it doesn't matter. The channel name at the end of each entry could be called SD, HD or sky blue pink and still get populated with guide data for whatever channel is listed in tvg-name. Helps keep your sanity with myriad changes from the service.

I have been using ProgTV with /kens guide. Very happy with this and appreciate the work kens puts in.

With the HD channels moving I changed to using the M3U link rather than a file. Now I can see the HD channels.

The problem is the guide is now missing from some channels where previously it was present, ie most of the pay movie channels
HBO, Showtime etc. I tried downloading the file but that changes nothing. When I go back to my original M3U file the guide reappears.

Any suggestions?

Try this https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ke...r/guide_ks.xml note the last entry is ‘ks.xml’ and not ‘kens.xml’ as in the original url
