AMD Offers Far Cry 5 Free With RX Vega Graphics Cards:

It's not unusual to have free games offered with a new graphics card purchase, but AMD is offering one of the most desirable games right now with some of its cards.

As Techarp reports, opting to purchase a new Radeon RX Vega 56 or Radeon RX Vega 64 graphics card from an authorised dealer or retailer will bag you a free copy of Far Cry 5.

The offer runs until June 30, with the game unlocked via a redemption code obtained from the retailer and entered on the AMD Rewards website.

Both Vega cards are more than capable of showing off Far Cry 5's visuals. The RX Vega 56 includes 3,584 stream processors, 8GB of HBM2 memory running over a 2,048-bit memory interface, and offers 21 TFLOPS of performance. The RX Vega 64 increases the available performance substantially by packing in 4,096 stream processes and achieving up to 27.5 TFLOPS if you opt for the water-cooled version (air-cooled still manages 25.3 TFLOPS).

These cards aren't cheap, though, so throwing in a $60 game for free is welcome. You can pick up a Radeon RX Vega 56 for around $600, where as a Radeon RX Vega 64 can be found for $800. That's a big investment, but they are both cards which should handle new games for years to come.
