The Escape of Prisoner 614 (2018)

    Director: Zach Golden
    Writer: Zach Golden
Stars: Ron Perlman, Martin Starr, Jake McDorman

This is the Director's first film.

Two inept, small-town Sheriff's Deputies catch an escaped prisoner that they believe was wrongly convicted.

This is one of them caught your eye type movies when searching for a new movie to watch.
Do you watch it or look on for something else ?
I chose to watch it and was not disappointed
It is kind of a comedy in a sense, not dark comedy but suddle.. sorta reminded me of a Coen Brothers movie.
These two deputies get fired cause there was no crime in their neck of the woods and no crime equals no arrests and that leads down hill.. fire the deputies was answer and Ron Pearlman (the Sheriff) explains that only like Ron can

Anyway... a 'dangerous' criminal escaped and was reported in that same neck of the woods. Our Deputies (these guys were not the smartest of folk), our deputies who were not deputies anymore cause they got fired.. well they figured they'd apprehend this 'dangerous' criminal and get their jobs back.

If you like the Coen Brothers type movies, you may like this.
And for a first time director, it is pretty darn good.

Ohh and that diner waitress, lmao... she is smart as a whip, you just can't so easily tell that she is

"The illusion of freedom will continue for as long as it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will take down the scenery, move the tables and chairs out of the way, then they will pull back the curtains and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater."
