I also think that the Z7+ has a USB 3.0 port and the T1 + has only USB 2.0 ports so for me I connected my Seagate Plus external hard drive which is already USB 3.0 to my Formuler Z7+ so it helps any playback of recordings play better I guess then on 2.0 USB ports...

Thanks.. I also own a seagate external hard drive..is it plug and play guygoy or do I have to download a player or anything to make it work?

Hi supaman32052, well for me I tried Seagate Backup Plus of 1TB and 4TB on the Z7+ and I did not have to format it to FAT32 or anything and it was as you said plug and play from the beginning with the player used by default when opening the playlist to choose any recordings made...
