Need help I had to try a factory reset today as my friend did something with my remote and i lost a bunch of channels,so it did a factory reset, downloaded Dol2,followed everything but now I get this please check your internet connection and portal ulr.I have it hard wired so i don't know what the problem might be any help on this and thank u in advance..

I believe you may have to go to wifi settings and turnwifi off

I checked that out and it is off,pulse when i check it in my settings its says its connected,

If there is an Ethernet connection, that is the one seen by the dreamlink.
With these Dreamlinks, an Ethernet connection will always take precedence over WiFi, even if wifi is enabled but an Ethernet is connected, the connected ethernet will be the one used by the dreamlink.

Message says...
'check your internet connection and portal url'

If you gots internet connection and IPs populate as 4wheelin asks, and you have also done a receiver reboot... then next step is shown in that message.
Check your URL.. Go to service website and log on to your code. Check what URL is given to that code. Ensure it matches what you have shown on the Dreamlink.

That factory reset will have erased your server setup on that dreamlink, so check that and redo.

depending what service .. but below is how to for Rocket..

ensure to use DOL2 and not the first DOL
as mentioned as well

To ensure a connection, just Open the Market. If it opens then all is good with that.

yes i did,and i see things have changed here, just try how to log onto my code not sure how to do this. got to where i check my donation but every time i try to change portal it just keeps going back to check donation
