Lets Go !
do you know if it saves data on pc?
Lets Go !
The extra space it takes up (versus using the online EPG) is the size of the XML file you saved. (You can choose not to save data on the PC in the configuration area.) With this technique, you need to download a new EPG each day after it is updated online or the data will time out. It doesn't take much time to perform the daily ritual (about two minutes), but some folks want things fully automated or they won't put up with it.
At least this lets us know the EPG can load. There is nothing wrong with that aspect of your Kodi installation. And this provides a way to have an EPG on your PC.

Normally kodi will load the data from the remote URL, saves a copy locally then loads the data into the epg11.db database file.
the amount of guide data it loads into the database depends on the setting you set in the PVR&LiveTV /Guide settings (days to Display).
If the guide you download has 5 days of data and you specify 3 days to display, it will load 3 days into the database.
There is a setting (update interval (in minutes)) that it will check if you have less than 3 days. If so, it will access the local copy of the file and extract enough data to top up the database.
...but simple answer is, no. uses the same space as it normally would. (but if you download a 4 day guide everyday then you are causing your own problem)

Acid's guide contains 24 hours of data. Thus, he needs to download every day.
