Freezing on 2 boxes

I have a mag 254 and a dreamlink t1 i have done an iptv reset on both. They freeze when watching live tv every 30 seconds or so

For what it is worth....... I have had the service go down, (Or so I thought), Then one day out of frustration I unplugged the box and waited a few for it to power completely down then rebooted it. Immediately upon the portal loading everything came back! Did that a few times the last few weeks. The Mag software (newer firmware... I'm on the latest..) only goes to a standby shutdown and does not allow shutting down. I wonder if after so long they need to be cleared this way??? Seemed to work for my 254. I know there is a reboot option in settings. However I have had no luck loading the settings when the box drops that many channels. Acts like it runs out of memory or something. just a thought...

Mine is freezing alot today again becoming a real pain in the butt i will try unpluging the mag for several minutes

i left it unplugged for twenty miutes and plugged it back in working great now ,thanks for the tip.

my 2 boxes dreamlink t1 and mag 254 are freezing and un watchable again, this is frustrating. i know this stuff isnt up 100 percent thats not what im talking about.when it doesnt work the first thing i do is nothing i give it 4 days or so ,then i go here ive sent them messages and the response is come here for answera .well ive come here ive done many iptv resets ireset the dreamlink and started over i feel theres nothing more i can do on my end if anyone has any usefull instruction i would be gratefull for any help.it might help a bit to no my experence started doing this stuff in 2003 in with twinhan 1020 in dell computer so many iks boxes i cant remember them all. now have mag 254 and dreamlink t1 at present . I worked as a tech for 30 years also.

20 minutes might be a little extreme. My apologies for not being more specific. Only need to leave unplugged till the capacitors drain down. I usually go for about 2 - 5 minutes. Usually that is all the time the caps need to power down.
