potato tv error on kodi 17.6

    running Ubuntu 16.04.3

getting this error now on potato tv - think it's related to a python upgrade but was wondering if anyone else came across this.

Anyone let me know if they've run into this.. I've tried a few things to no avail.

i would skip the potato and go solely with pvr iptv simple client. no bells and whistles add your playlist and watch tv works great on ubuntu 16.04

Did you install using the Repo or the Video addon?
Here is a link to the Repo,
    Code:
    http://www.mediafire.com/file/n7h6dy1r8wht11p/repository.sick-potato-1.0.0.zip
    Addons/ install from zip.
    Then Addons/ install from Repo
Video addons - Sickpotato video addon

I did kens, I've been using the add-on for sometime without issue. I believe its an issue with a python update with regards to pyOpenSSL something like this here: https://github.com/jdf76/plugin.video.youtube/issues/14

I'll play around with it more. I installed 1.0.4.r9 something and it works fine. So it's something in release 1.9.9. r11. I was just wondering if someone else had the issue and resolved it. I can't be the only one using Ubuntu for kodi..

Check this Kodi Forum Post (Post#3) is relevant if it happens again.

I tried removing repo.. re-installing all no good. I reverted to 1.9.9 r-7 seems to work fine now.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
