Buzz TV Box - Intial Setup Procedures and Information

Connect your HDMI cable and Ethernet cable if using hard wire.
Connect a mouse or mini keyboard at this time too if using either of those. There are 2 USB ports and one SD Card port on the side of the Buzz box.

    Then power the Buzz up.
I did run into issues with HDMI connection at this point. I could not get the picture on TV till I changed the HDMI cable twice and eventually had to run thru an HDMI switch to get the picture to pop in. Now seems that issue went away and can run without that Switch.

Setup your Network with either WiFi or Ethernet
    -Wi-fi
Enter your WiFi key and once completed, click the 'circled arrow' on the KB to save, and this also exits the on-screen KeyBoard, as well now it goes straight to the wi-fi connection process.
You may have to do this connection process a couple times, but it will connect if key is correct.
There is included an external AC Dual Band Wi-Fi antenna, but the wifi never connected here till the 3rd attempt. My Modem wifi is dual band SSID 2.4G + 5G

To back out of most menus, use the your RCU's back button.

    -Ethernet
With the Ethernet connected prior to powering on, it should now show as 'Connected' in this menu.
Your assigned home network IP address will show here .
MAC Address shows here too, but it is not the Buzz box MAC, nor is it the modem's MAC. Not sure what this MAC is pointing at.
    Ethernet Device should be 'On'
Advanced Options is where you can set with DHCP or Static. It is defaulted as DHCP
If you click on Static it will open the onscreen KB and is where you would enter the static IP address you give it.
But if you clicked on this Static option and do not want to actually set it up, ensure that on your way back out of the menu that you click on the DHCP, so it then saves as DHCP again.

When connected with Ethernet then that will be the default connection. If WiFi key has also been entered and connected at one time or other the Ethernet will take presitance and WiFi will show as 'Disconnected'.

Proxy settings are here.... HTTP proxy is used by the Browser but my not be used by other apps.
VPN is there in the main Network screen, if that is an option with the service (with nfps servers, it is not an option).

Back button to exit back to main Network screen.
Use the Next function to proceed.
    User setup is completed.

    Buzz TV main screen
Here we see that we are first highlited on the Browser option. Click that and you taken to google online web page. You can browse the web this way.
Next beside Browser we have Kodi Krypton 17.4
Next we see an ADD icon. This is to add other apps onto that main menu screen, as you see the Browser and Kodi.

If we scroll further to the right you will see two icons, The first is an Accelerator function which frees up the memory on the device.
Next is the Power icon. This will give you 3 choices. Using the RCU's power button will give you same choices.
    -Standby
    -Reboot
    -Power Off

Back on the Buzz's main menu again and we see the following....
Live TV - VOD - APPS - Market - Settings

If you are ready to connect to an iptv server then we can do this in a few ways. Either enter the Live TV or VOD menus or the Settings menu or in APPS menu, thru the Buzz TV app. The Buzz MAC address will show on these server setup menus. You will need to attach (link) that MAC onto your iptv server login at your server's website.
To exit these server setup menus, hold the back button a second longer then normally and an exit option will appear on screen.

Set up the server in the Buzz menu without the username and password added.
Keep the MAC attached/linked, but do not use the credentials (user and pass), in the buzz server setup menu.
It is not needed at present time to use credentials thru the server setup, long as your MAC has been attached to your code.

The APPS menu holds all the apps pre-installed on your Buzz box.
The Market menu is where you can choose other apps to install from online AptoideTV.
In the Market you can also access your APPs and the Settings menus.
Open the Settings menu and this is where we see Hardware Specs , Preferences, Send Feedback and About us options.
The current Aptoide version is shown there too (Version 3.2.3)
Preferences has some interesting functions hidden there. Open that and take a look.
    -Allow Remote Install
    -Clear Cache
    -Remove data and Configurations
    -Change Theme
    -Allow Silent Install

Scrolling these menus is best done with the Buzz RCU.
I tried with mouse, but it stutters and stops when scrolling thru a large selection of apps.

Settings menu seen on the main Buzz screen.
Enter here and you will have some setup options.
    -Server setup
    -WiFi
    -LAN
    -Date & Time
    -Display
    -Language
    -Update
    -More

In Display is where you can set screen resolution (1080p 720p and etc...).
Can also turn High Dynamic Range (HDR) on or off or auto.
    Code:
    https://www.cnet.com/news/what-is-hdr-for-tvs-and-why-should-you-care/
In Upgrade is where you can set the buzz firmware as Auto Update or Manual Update Now.
Depending on how you have update set (Auto or Manual) the 'Upgrade Settings' will give different setting options.
With it set as Auto, we will see in this Upgrade settings menu an option to check in intervals. It is defaulted at 1 hour intervals.

Then lastly in this main settings menu screen, we see the menu labeled as 'More'
In here we many of the things we have already come across, like in the first Device menus we see Network, Display, APPS and etc.
We also find the Internal Storage and Reset functions here..... Factory Data reset is here.
Next line is Preferences with much that we have seen before, but some new things here too.
-HDMI CEC or HDMI Consumer Electronics Control
    -Playback Settings
    -Search
    -More Settings

Find out what this HDMI CEC thing is all about thru the coded link below...
    Code:
    https://www.howtogeek.com/207186/how-to-enable-hdmi-cec-on-your-tv-and-why-you-should/
Still on the 'Preferences' area, we will look in the 'More settings' menu.
In here is your basic android info menus. Includes a 'Reset' function and a 'About Device' menu. That Device menu shows your current Android version, current Build Number and some other information.

That is about it for your basic setup and menu descriptions for this Buzz box.
Next we will get an m3u Playlist tutorial posted up for us, coming soon.
