I have Kodi 16.1 (Jarvis) loaded on my Android boxes. I know there is a 17.0 version available. Just how do I update mine and if I do will I lose my addons?

Not within Kodi... you can download from them and go right over the top of previous BUT sumtimes it won't work, and you have to do a fresh install. Go to Kodi and try ..we are all Beta Testers here.

final question, is it worth the upgrade. I have read some bad reviews of the urgrade.
