Can't get IPTV channels when VPN is enabled

Hello,
I installed Kodi in Windows and am able to view IPTV when my VPN is off. When I turn it on, I can not view any IPTV channels. I installed IPVanish on my PC. My router from 2012 and does not have DD-WRT or Tomato to initiate the VPN connection.
Any idea why this is happening and what I can do to fix this problem? Thank you for your help.

The services do not allow the use of VPNs. To make certain your VPN is blocked, do an IPTV Reset at the Donation Checker. The VPN changes your IP address. When you change IP addresses, the server will block you until you do an IPTV Reset. If the IPTV Reset does not provide resolution, it is likely your VPN is blocked. Here is a prior warning from the services:

IMPORTANT: If you use VPN and the service doesn't work then please try without the VPN because some datacenters are blacklisted for security reasons.
