    hit the setup button on your remote and click on reboot device

    or you can go to settings and press restart portal and it will work also did my folks that way,and started right of way .

    Reboot can be found in menus in both the outer and inner portals or you can unplug the power cable jack from rear of unit...

    My portal is not available, I remove the power cable from the back and still not working.

    Sometimes rebooting the modem and router will cure the problem.

    The modem /router has no effect what so ever on that problem.
