    Not normal, nope.
Should not be too hot to touch,

    Try this...
In System Settings -- Network Info, enter both Wired and Wireless options ... Can it be turned off in there ?
Might have to refresh the connection, or non-connection.
Refresh button is at bottom right on the remote.

No. It cant be turned off there. Anyway its enough to change your wifi chanel on 12 or 13 because its seem that box doesnt see channels above 11th.

So it goes like this. Install PuTTy and use this string
    cat /sys/devices/virtual/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp

Mine was 81000 and thats 81 celsius which is fine. I guess i have to use myself on a hot box because i have also 254 and that box is not even close warm like this one.

I have 2 MAG 256 and Dreamlink T1+, the MAG's run way hotter than the Dreamlink does. Doesn't seem to affect anything but still to the touch its very very warm.. I just don't like leaving something plugged in. According to my IR thermal sensor the MAG runs about 110 when reading taken at the top of the box. The Dreamlink about 91

to solve this problem took it apart took everything out and drilled a few holes in the casing, cooled way down, did this as i thought the unit was shutting down because it was overheating
