Sounds like it is ok if you're seeing the correct date and time on the screen.

What version of Kodi are you using? When the offset is at 0, how far off are you? Again, you need to clear data or restart Kodi after each adjustment.

I was putting my off set at -8;00 thinking that I was adjusting the guide to pacific time. That's what I get for thinking. After returning off set to 0 I have the correct time. Thanks for all the advice.

On my box that has 16, I have to offset -5 to get correct epg for EST but not on other installs that have 17.6.

Yes, but he was off by 8 hours, and he had the setting at -8, so I thought a 0 setting would probably get things straightened out. I didn't think it was a coincidence.

Kodi has changed how it responds to the offset and how it responds to Daylight Savings Time. Both changes have been in the positive direction.

I agree that changes have been in the positive direction but this is just one example of why kodi can be so frustrating for people who are just starting out with it. Not everyone goes to their forums to learn or reads the wiki. RTFM, lol.

Mr. Acidjesuz.... Channel SPIKE has been changed and is now the Paramount network. The EPG has stopped showing data for Spike. Can you make the necessary channel correction to resume Spike programming.
