Yes.....it just defaults back to flasing red light.

My xpl3000 is currently flashing a red light.....it had been working fine since I purchased 1 week ago.....has anyone experienced this, is there a reset or restore for this issue? Your help and suggestions are appreciated!

Do you see the light marked "net" on the front of the box? Is that the light that is blinking or the "status" light? Do both lights blink or just one?

Any body having issues to make this 3000 buzz box. I can not put a new server on it. Goes to usder profile thn stops. My service provider have my mac address on 3 differnt panels and active and working.. Any a ideas?

Mine was doing it too. I didn't know if it was normal or not but I knew it was annoying and was thinking of putting a piece of tape over it.
After a few days it died. Wouldn't turn on any more. I contacted the seller and have shipped it back. I was going to get a refund but I think
I will just get them to send me another one since it is suppose to be a good box to have. I currently don't have any other box to use.

Sorry if this is a newb question, but can the XPL 3000 record ANY stream, regardless of the provider? Or, do you still need an IPTV provider that allows / enables stream recording as well?

look do a factory reset ans start all over thats what i would do and have done

So, I got an XPL3000 to test out and while yes, it can record any stream there are some major limitations.


1) There is no skip forward / skip back functionality so you can't "instant replay" something you saw.
2) If you try to create a scheduled timer recording, you have to leave the "Live TV" app running on the box 24/7 because if you exit it, and go to the main menu, the recording won't start. This is a huge waste of bandwidth and just plain dumb.


I've emailed the developer asking if they can implement the first two features, and fix the scheduled recording problem.
