Kodi 14.0 Helix Unwinds

I first installed "wasser 2.0.3" firmware on my tronsmart R28 meta box...I then installed the new "Kodi 14.0 Helix" & kodi worked great...I even watched "The Interview" in 1080P...It played perfectly & no problems...I can ff...rew...pause the movie & kodi doesn't shut down anymore.

you're welcome wish you the best of luck with the project. the only thing i'm still working on,is how to set the correct time since all the gbox functions are gone

Can you just go to programs>Android Programs>Time settings on Kodi? or does not give you that option?

no,that part is removed also. i did find a way ( after your suggestion though ) you have to go into the main menu of xbmc and turn on the tie zone,select your time zone and it worked. i now have the correct time on the screen.

ok tried this on my new atv582 kodi still runs bad on it went back gotham 13.2

I placed Openelec on mine MX2 and it runs great, picture quality improved (HD quality is really good),uploads faster too. I was able to change the time with the only draw back so far is that Istream won't work, but so far I like openelec.

istream worked great for me. i said worked,because i got home last night,a movie locked up the box and i had to reinstall fact firmware until i have more time to play with it

Pretty much all video addons from xunity dont work and espn video says incompatible too. I'm using genesis until i figure it out and the new openelec 5.0 came out not the MX2 revised one yet.

got it back up and running and istream is working too watching ironman 3 as i type this in 1080p 2.0 audio
