I tried to use one of the keyboards in an M8 and no luck. Tried a wireless mouse and no Luck!
Tried both devices on a second M8 no problem!
Did I disable the USB ports(if so how do I enable) or are they defective?
Thanks

You need to plug the little piece usb adapter that came with it in your Android device.
thanks for the reply date but that is the procedure I used for both the wireless mouse and for the wireless keyboard.
they work fine in other devices, another M8, my laptop, and my desktop!
has me stumped
Have you loaded anything using your usb into the device? The reason I'm asking is to see if your device's usb ports are reading anything. just as option.

no only the wireless devices, going to try a USB "Wired keyboard and mouse" today to eliminate a "BAD" USB port or "BAD" wireless device(s).
Also you may try to reset your device just in case you have this option disabled in your device general setting.
