new route old box

I bought a new route for an existing account. when I tried to add it by changing the mac address it says account already exist which it does. is there anyway to add the new route to the existing box without have to wait for the old account to expire? thx for any and all info

not sure if I understand all that but are the old route and the new route the same number.

or delete the MAC addy from the old route and add it to the new route

2 different routes one box one has about 2 months left the new route has a year

in order to use the new route on that same box, you would have to delete the MAC addy at the website from that older route and then add that same MAC to the new route.

You could still use your older route, but just not on that same box and same MAC, unless you do the change again. Otherwise use that old route on another device
