    Help needed team moderators likilane

Hi and have been with you guys for almost 3 years but this is the hardest. I have the basic MAG254 iks66tv through portal 1. Have had nothing but freezing.
The home office reset my info and changed by url address. They said that you would help me with other situations. System worked last weekend but now really no video movies or channels working today. I am using an r14 in my MAG. I have AT&T with a basic dsl router. I am not in an area for uverse. I am not using an ethernet cable. Someone suggested that I turn the MAG upside down and run a reboot and the unit gets hot. Anyway any suggestions such as going to r19 and or using a ethernet cable or something else that would help. Do Ii have to increase the speed to make it work better? It has worked in the past - like last weekend but not on any kind of regular schedule. Please give me some helps. Thanks, Satman001

Does anyone know if the Mag254 can handle more megs? Say 20-50 megs. I am only getting 1 now from AT&T dsl. Would you moderators know if this would fix the freezing matter? Many thanks, Satman001

Ok and many thanks to all for the suggestions. No one did say that I should go to r19 version.
Am I OK staying with r14??

    Thanks, Satman001

From what Ive read, stay with r14. I had r19 but reverted back to r14 due to issues.
