KODI 17.3 IPTV PVR Simple Client No TV Menu

OK I am stumped here. Can someone please help me. I have installed couch potato version 1.9.9-r7 into kodi 17.3. Everything seems to be working. I can see the channels being loaded when I clear data in the Kodi settings. The thing is after all the channels load I have no TV menu in kodi. It should of displayed the tv menu so I can view the guide. Not sure what it can be. T.i.a.

Thank you for your input couch potato. I figured out my problem. Since I was making my first custom build. I deleted everything in the Menu bar in skin settings. What I did was went to live TV in skin settings and then submenu then to common then clicked on live TV and it brought up the tv menu along with the pvr guide. Now just trying to figure out why box nation dont work. Thank You for your time.

I followed the two videos to add Potato TV and set it up. When I open the addon and click on IPTV, all I get is a test pattern for each channel. What am I missing?

When I paste the Generic M3U into VLC only the Chaching and London Live are working, everything else error "VLC is unable to open the MRL"

Mine is working fine except the tv guide description is not matching what is actually playing. I never know what is playing which sucks. My pvr settings are already set to -600 which is central standard time and its still wrong. This is getting frustrating.

learn the "what is" & "how to" of the EPG Time Shift in my addon's settings


then set the timezone to the nearest city to your location
change the value of the EPG Time Shift ONLY if the guide doesn't match
use the "+" / "-" according to their definition / usability (accelerator / brake)

Thank You couch potato that did it. My time zone should of been set at -6.00 central standard time. When it was all said and done I had to set it at +0:00 which fixed it. Your a life saver and I greatly appreciate your time.
