Taking a mag254 to Columbia

Hi folks I have a fast question about taking a Mag254 to Columbia
My daughter just moved to Columbia with her new husband.... I want to set up a mag 254 for them when they get here .... Can I do all the work here in the USA and give them the box to take back with them.... I understand I might have to re-set the box once they set t up on there wifi in Bogota Columbia.... ... Just wanted to check to see will they get the same channels I get here in Florida And will it work on there wifi Thank you guys in Advance !!!!!!

I have taken my mag254 several times to Colombia, it works fine. I wouldn't recommend using it on a wifi network since the Colombian ISPs and the routers sold there do not offer dual band. Remember the better the speed the better picture you'd see.
