problem with most of the channels

I thought that most of the channels were down, but one day I was watching a channel, switch to another, came back to the first channel and I wasn't able to open it, but I knew it was working so I tried it couple of times until it opened again.
most of the channels are "working" that way some of them you have to try to open it 10 - 15 time until it works.
I know its not only me because most of the threads talk about not working channels, all channels down, service down, etc.
Someone has to take care of this, at least inform that they know about the problem and that they are working on it. But nobody says anything and most of the users think that the service or most of the channels are completely down

Had the same experience last night with the NBC NY local trying to watch the Stanley Cup game. It took five or six attempts, but it finally came up.

Well when you get only test patterns on most channel, I say there down.

Seeing that test pattern tells you that someone didn't make their payment to Direct tv on time. We'll have to wait until they rake up $39.95 for the payment.

Unfortunately, even if the channel can be made to play -and I agree, some if them will play after much opening and closing- it freezes, skips and is generally unwatchable.

Would love to know what's actually wrong.

It's a big news day and CNN is off and on, showing error messages. This channel used to be up all of the time. Now it is hit and miss and more often miss than hit.

Amazing, like always they could care less about our subscriptions, or respect the money we put into, a fairly important day, today, channels 200 CNN, and 205 Fox are down and like must of the time American channels down.

You can always go to cCloud to watch Fox news. Not HD but stable.
