    Strange Problem with Mag254

I hope someone can give me a little guidance with my Mag problem. It works fine during the day but not at night! I tested it on both wifi and Ethernet. Moved it to another room, same problem. Only thing I can think of is to erase all data and start over. Any ideas? TIA!

My guess is internet provider. Some networks in certain areas share data, so the more people using the net, the slower it gets...Just my guess though

Thanks for the reply. I should have also mentioned that I have an Android TV box running STB Emulator which works perfectly on wifi (with all the freezing and missing channels that is). Only difference is that the Mag is on Rocket and the Android box is on IKS66.

Well it now looks like all my boxes have issues at night. I read all the other posts about problems that come and go but I never had an issue until about a week ago. For some reason the Mag is the worst but the Android TV box also acts up and so does my Android tablet using a playlist. This feels like the beginning of the end. Hope not.

Check your internet contract for minimum data rate requirement. ISP is probably throttling you down to the minimum during peak periods.
Also, do a basic DSL Speed Test during the time in question.
Also to note, you have 3 devices sharing the bandwidth, so divide that by 3 as well if all are used concurrently.
(require min. 2Mb/sec (3Mb/sec recommended)) per device for SD. (More for HD)).

Also remember, your system, when online, is using your bandwidth in the background for other things like time adjust, system and App updates, facebook crap etc.

    * ...and you thought math class was over!

Thanks for the input. I only use one device at a time. Live here by myself. I will check Internet speed at different times as you suggest. As a former math teacher, love the math stuff! Bring it on!

    OK...
Here is a Formula to be used at Thanksgiving.

    Circumference of a Pumpkin
    ---------------------------- = Pumpkin Pi "π"
    Diameter of a Pumpkin

Very good! BTW, I reinstalled the latest software on my Mag. Seems to work a little better.

I am having the same problem and so many other users. This is the server's poor maintenance.
