The MAG boxes are specifically designed for IPTV as where the avov is more xbmc based. The MAG is basically IPTV and nothing else really, it does have a media center, which most Android or Linux boxes have, and it also has a software where you can install your own m3u files.

M3U is a computer file format that contains multimedia playlists. It originally was designed for audio files, such as MP3, but various software now uses it to play video file lists. M3U's can also point a media player to an online streaming audio source.

No, it has nothing to do with any IKS or NFPS or anything like that. All it is, its a link to certain channels that require a m3u format in order for you to view it in an IPTV software. MAG boxes have this and MEGATVi have this capability for you to play this file in a m3u format.

You can see any channels as long as you have the links to them then you can add that link to an m3u format but just a note that a lot of the times these links go dead because they change so they may work one day and then wont work anymore cause the link has changed.
