Horizontal length of the video image on the screen

Regardless of if I use playlist method to play or play using Mag 254.

I find the Horizontal length of the video image displayed on the screen vary from channel to channel.

Some channels are shorter in width with black on the sides and some channels are full width.

It seems it is depend on each channel ?

So there is no way to adjust full width on all channels on the t.v. ?

Every application and add-on is different, but there is usually a setting to set all video output to 16:9 or stretch to 16:9 or stretch to fullscreen.
