You need to disable PVR Stalker client when attempting to use Potato TV with IPTV Simple client.

yes, i did that with no luck. the issue is that the connection times out with the 'simple client, & is not configurable like the stalker client is. my problem is access to vod. tks...

I've been using this add-on since it's first release and it has been working wonderfully for me.

I do however struggle with the EPG. What is the latest source / add on recommendation for a fully working guide?

all that info is available in this 'potato tv thread. just scroll back near the begining(with xtreme) guide for us channels workin ok... don't think the 'pyscon stuff is still working..

How is everyones EPG working today on Potato?

Mine is not showing up...tried all 3 options...with the usual drill of clearing data and restart. No luck.

Is there some standard troubleshooting to be done when this happens? If so, what?

Go to setting ptotato tv
then PVR Client select PACH for EPG source,
Under all that You see Server: STOP I selected that waited till it says stopped in bottom corner of screen
Then I select Server: START I selected that wait till it says server started
Go down and and select OK to save
Now in Potato tv app select Cache clear to generate new Token
Now in Potato yv app select PVR cleient select no
now in Kodi go to PVR&Live TV Clear your Data select yes channels will reload
I completely shut down kodi and restart and epg appears

thanks for advice....not sure what you mean by the step above.....I took it to mean "disable PVR Client".

After following all steps, did not work, Im afraid.

In potato tv app under caches it says PVR Client click on that a preset Keymap box pops up select No ,,
now in Kodi go to PVR&Live TV Clear your Data select yes channels will reload
I completely shut down kodi and restart and epg appears

Thanks for the explanation....after following your latest clarification my epg is back....guess this is some sort of way to reset Potato...exactly what I was looking for.

Does anyone know what is the difference between Pach and Viper epgs? Im on Pach now and missing epg for the uk channels...
