I want to use the A/V for my video distribution system.

I tried to use my MAG254 A/V cable to do exactly that with my DL T1. I got some very funky interaction with lines and audio and sync problems. I really didn't have time to screw around with this, so I set it aside. I want to get back to it now. I am going to buy a cable so I do not have to screw around with my MAG setup. Do I understand correctly that this is a standard 3.5mm to RCA A/V cable? If so, I will go on fleabay and pick one up. That way I can play with this for as long as it takes.

Has anyone else tried this? Do I need to set the video to a particular setting to get this to work?

Yes. Yes. I know the quality of the video will not be anywhere as nice as the HDMI, but I still get to see the output in the kitchen while I make my dinner, or in the bedroom, or in my work room. Anyway, you get the picture.
