Am I crazy or does this box have a mind of its own?

If I am recording a show or movie and leave to go watch something on a different system when I come back to the IPTV system it has stopped recording and gone back to the main menu, but if I leave it playing on the screen it will finish recording. What the HE--? Is there an adjustment or work around for this issue or is it just me?

The Mag254 has a feature built into it to disconnect automatically when you turn your TV off. You can even set a delay before it disconnects.
Go into "Settings", "Video", "HDMI event reaction" to set it or disable it.

Setting the "HDMI event reaction"to IGNORE seems to have solved the problem. Thanx very much.

Oops made a mistake. Setting the "HDMI event reaction"to IGNORE did not solve the problem, but setting it for IMMEDIATELY seemed to.

If this is the case, how will we be able to do time recordings?

Will you create the fix in a future upgrade?
