there are 4 new update files.
Two for the Avov Vixo1 model.
Two for the Avov TVOnline model.
Each model may come with one of two builds, that's why two files for each.
So get your correct avov receiver and get the correct update file depending which build you have.
This is all explained in the directions. Don't randomly try files. Get the right one and try that same one a few times.
Couple reports that I saw, said they were successful after a few tries (with correct file)

http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?2...date-4-27-2015 thats the one for you its vixo1
    *Remember:
    – Make sure your device is connected to the internet via Ethernet or WiFi then continue with the steps below. Do not pull USB/SD Card/Jump drive until the firmware installation is completed.
    – Please do not download all files and put them on same drive it will not work. Its 1 USB per “update.zip” / device / firmwarm update. The file must also stay named “update.zip” for the box to recognize the firmware update.

also make sure your Browser is not downloading the file as an attachment... If it is, then change the file name to 'update' and try that.
Or change your Browser and use FireFox and then re-download a new copy of the update file..
    Thnx papasmurf for that info

I am at 1.0.11 and came up as update. I have tried this update numerous times and also did a factory reset. Now I have no apps and still can't access the channel store. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem? Thanks

How long does it take the firmware to update from 1.0.09? Trying to update a new vixo 1 box but stays on firmware updating message.
