We've got in touch with him but he's not got back to us yet. I hope it's not because he doesn't know what to do!

    You can try this:

    Unplug STB from power source.
Press and hold «menu» button on the remote (or the power button on the front panel).
Without releasing «menu» button (or the power button on the front panel) Plug STB back in.
Release “menu” button when BIOS is loaded.

    choose “Def. Settings”.
    press the right arrow.
    confirm by pressing the “OK”.
Select “Exit & Save” to save and exit. STB will reboot automatically.

If there is no image displayed on your tv then complete next steps:
    Unplug power of STB
Press and hold “Menu” button on remote
Plug power on STB with holding “Menu” button
Hold “Menu” button during 5-10 seconds.
Switch PAL - NTSC with single press on red button “F1” on RC.
Then start from the beginning again.

    Code:

Keep in mind though, if you factory reset and the box seller doesn't get back to you with your login details, you'll probably have to resubscribe at an additional cost.

changing that theme is the issue.
You musta had a different service on that mag before. One that gave you a zip file to load.

you will need to take that mag back to factory settings thru bios functions... look in sticky threads for that

I once had a similar issue and a hard reset through bios worked a treat for me.
If you are not using one of the supported services from this site I think the only option would be for you to go back to your reseller and see if they can sort?

I know somebody got that problem before....the new theme is stored at server level (looks like your set it is not supported) the only way fix it was sign with a different provider that new address will give the standard theme..i know is going to cost another subscrption. if you use an emulator instead of the real mag is going to reset changing just the mac address .... but for that you need a differnt box google or android and install a mag emulator...
    you can try this:
    - go in mac address reset web site
    - enter any new mac address approved by your provider (00:1a:78:xx:xx:xx)
    - wait a couple of hours the reset again this time with your real mag MAC address.
    - you should have now a virgin account set up when you start your box

    Hope it helps
