MAG 256 external HDD

Hi guys! I have MAG 254 and 256. When I plug an external hdd into the 254 it works perfectly but 256 doesn't recognize it at all. It works only with usb stick.

Does someone have the same issue?

some times it is how the hard drive is formatted/ partitioned. You will be loosing info on the drive so if you have stuff, don't do it but if you can, reformat it using a PC (ntfs is preffered) and then plug it in to see if it is recognized, the other issue might be the files on the hard drive, MAG may not be able to view the extension of the files properly and thus does not display anything. You should bale to format the drive using the MAG256.

Yes, I know this. But why then the MAG254 has no problems at all with the same hdd?
