Unable to get StbEmu Pro working on Nvidia Shield TV

    Hi,
Took out a EDITED trial yesterday so that i could test it out. Purchased & installed StbEmu Pro on my shield tv and put in one of the 2 portal URLs supplied but keep getting "incorrect portal address" message. Has anyone got StbEmu (latest version) working on their Nvidia Shield box?

Also I've noticed that the MAC address displayed within StbEmu is not the same as the real MAC of the shield tv box. Which MAC address should be used when linking an IPTV service to the emulator? Initially EDITED linked my real MAC but still couldn't get StbEmu working and even changing it to the StbEmu MAC made no difference.

    Cheers

There are so many Stb emulators and so many different versions, you have to try them all and even then I found they either don't work or they weren't intended to be used with the Nvidia Shield Tv box. I found one app, "Stalker IPTV Emulator" which is easy to download and install but it is a trial version which lasts for 3 days and then you either have to sign up for one of their packages or it stops working. I know it works with the Shield and it connects to any server so long as your donation is active. I really don't know why but you will see they put $ 3.99 us dollar amount for this app but its can't be purchased as the Paypal link is a dead end. Why this particular emulator version 16.3 - 0 is not available is a mystery but it works very well with the Nvidia Shield. Easy to change the Mac address, easy to edit the url ports and it connects fast, lists all channels, channel listings including the XXX and Foreign, International, etcetera.
    This is a link....hxxp://www.foryourinformation.xyz/index.php?/topic/2-stalker-emulator-updated-please-check/

The mac address you use when setting up the STB is your made up mac number starting with 00:1A:78:?:?:? you fill in lasst 3 of your choice. Go to provider website and register your mac number on there site with your credentials and do an iptv reset. If it don't work first time, clear cache and reboot device. You didnt say which provider you use. I use rocket here the link is above. if you using one of the other two providers just use the papiao site and replace rocket in the url address. the STB emulator will work fine on the shield

Hello. I'm having the same problem using the paid/Pro version of STB EMU. I'm using a MAC address such as: 00:1A:78:xx:xx:xx. I've tried several versions and still have the same issue and get the following error "incorrect portal URL. Please enter a correct one."

Since I have iptv66, I've switched portals and tried both http://s1.iptv66.tv and http://s2.iptv66.tv. I've also tried both using complete address of http://s1.iptv66.tv/c/index.html. This is on a Sony Bravia. I contacted Max the developer a few months ago but got no joy. I've tried with versions: 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3, and 1.1.3.1. I've cleared the cache, rebooted the television and done everything else I could think of.

Any words of wisdom because I sure would like to get this working.

Go into settings and double check your mac address that is shown there as I found I had one letter that was not right and that will stop it from being connected. You should also do a reset via your online log in to make sure its not being blocked by the server. I had this happen more than once and it had to do with one letter in the last six digits or the xx:xx:xx portion.
