Connect separate WiFi Adapter to aVoV VIX01

Hi I have a "hybrid plus" Avov box which by reading here is the avov VIX01 renamed. I have a D-link DWA-160 for my Mag 254 which works awesome at the location i'm using the avov box now. Question is the built in WIFI in the avov box just doesn't work well at all. Can I use a separate WiFi adapter on the avov box which already has WiFi built in it? I don't see anywhere I can disable it and add an external one.

What kind of problems are you having with the WIFI? The vixo1 works fine with mine. Works as good as the mag254 does.

Very choppy picture but if i use my mag 254 with the D-link DWA-160 at the same location it works flawless.
