I read what you say, taking the charge to spread the word. So tell me, if you know this, Pyscon posted in another thread try provider, so..
lets say these were my credentials (fictitious):

That was the method for configuring the guide roughly 6 months ago. It hasn't worked since that time.

to think really think that baffles me is that both those posts urls are someone who is no longer with us I guess.

Maybe pretty tied up with work. But the evolution of the guide itself got better, addons were created.

so... surely the plain old situation is what someone said in another of my posts. The recommendation to make my own pulls.
If they ever find a provider. the url is simple, for the long term now that I'm so shakin by the months of issues, I want a permanent solution. I thought I got out of all the kodi addon changing when it went private stalker. But the quide issues reminds me of the wild west days of unofficial addons that we never speak of over in that forum.

I notice that the whole batch of most the sub directories don't work on that EPG site. One person said in another post use echo add in for kodi, I have to find it and try it I guess but hate using an addon dependent vs pull an XML at this point build it myself. I will have to try that out.

I also see this addon TV GUIDE Full screen that is also tps://github.com/primaeval/repository....-0.0.1.zip but you need xml sources for it. I know blackbear did some heavy lifting on that as well as psycon. Ive even seen couchpotato chime in with modifying that code. surely there is a way stand on what they did even if its not pretty it would be nice. I guess I will be forced to just sit and wait and hope that services can go back to hosting the xml again. We can always hope for that.

This thread by Kens shows a source for UK data, but still relys on dead URL for ninja file to be used to combine into one.

it uses xml grabber has a UK information, I supposed that covers most English UK channels I use. http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?2...-other-goodies. So where is US data version we need ? anyone know?

Any information or links you find that point to the old ninja guide will not work.

There are several ways to get US data. Expatter and I are discussing one in the EPG area. You can also do a google search and it will point to a few other options. There's somewhat of a learning curve, but it isn't that daunting.

I just noticed that the community owes a favor to this post, now we can buy some time to learn the process to pull it ourselves.

I still see a mod said one option is pull you own or use provider.

So our service is temporarily missing the hosting for the simple EPG URL?
