What Mag box to buy

Hey guys just getting tired of messing with my I-link so I am going to buy a Mag box but need to know a few things. I have a mag 254 and would like to have one that is capable of adding a external hard drive to record like a dvr. Also I need to make sure they have software for the unit I buy so if anybody has a box that will meet my criteria let me know ...............thanks..........two-dogs
PS I want to get notification of replies in my email and I am not getting them please tell me how to get this done....

You wont find one that will record from iptv services, i do believe.

Thanks crazed 2.0 so it looks like the 254 again I seemed to of bricked mine can't get into the menu with the power trick. I seen they had a few more boxes out and was hoping that someone had tried one.........PS is there a way I can get emails to let me know if I get any responses............thanks ..............two-dogs

I recommend you get a good Android box like the M8S, with 2gb. ram and Quad Processor. (around$100)
Then use Kodi and the built-in pvr.Stalker for IPTV. (Best user experience IMO)
You can use the SD slot for Expanded Memory or the USB ports or send and receive your playlist data on your network.

It also appears to be the platform with the least amount of user problems and complaints.

Hey kens thanks bud a couple of questions is it easy to setup and how long have you been using it, also I have rocket as my server does it work like the Mag and could you pm me where to buy. That is so much help thanks I'm sure I will have more questions.............Hey and crazed 2.0 in the thread tools it doesn't give me the option of subscribing just unsubscribing where do a subscribe if not in tools

Possibly you accidentally subscribed. Click Settings at the upper right. On the settings page, at the upper right is a View All Subscriptions button. Click it. If you're subscribed, the thread will appear in the ensuing list.

Just google M8s Android tv box and you will get lots of options.
Ive used them (M8S) for over a year and other models before that.

Your server will not be 1.iptvprivateserver.tv or hxxp://portal1.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html
it will be ****rocket***** etc. but all other instructions are valid.

And No it doesn't work like a MAG ... It works much better (IMO).
