Any recent info on how to set up Kodi on AVOV Vixo 2 ?

I read a lot of info in here on Kodi but I am still having trouble putting it all together to make it work. Since this box is no longer supported by the mods (I think) What version of Kodi should I use ? Do I need to upload it via usb ? What Stalker should I use ? what stalker applications should I use ? Anyone have any suggestions on where to start ? I am lost right now.

I just purchased the vixo 2 and it works awesome, you need to goto the mickeyhop store and download kodi 16.1 which is the most recent, you can go from there to get your addons on Kodi if u know how to, and also download tvonline from the mickeyhop store on your vixo 2 to setup up whatever service you've purchased

use your browser and download kodi 16.1 for android here -> https://kodi.tv/download/
go to android settings/ security and enable "allow unknown sources"
avov box - disable tv online or live tv.
change your mac prefix to 78 from 79 at papiao, and use that mac# in stalker configuration.
install new kodi by clicking on downloaded file.

far as i know tvonline still works great use that

Marley is correct, but if you Enabled any other Stalker(PVR or Video addon)program, It has to be disabled, or the server will return an Error. /kens

Just for your info guys, the Vixo2 has two versions of Kodi in its Channel Store
Kodi TVAddons version and the Kodi version 16.1

Just open the Channel Store from within the Vixo2 menus and you will find the two versions there.
Easy to install from there
