Here's what you need to know about the 37th World Series winner-take-all Game 7:

Starting pitchers

Cubs: Kyle Hendricks (16-8, 2.13 ERA) was the MLB ERA leader during the regular season but the Indians got to him in Game 3. Cleveland connected on six hits with two walks and one hit by pitch but failed to score any runs off the right-hander in his 4 1/3 innings of work.Indians' career numbers vs. Hendricks: Jason Kipnis (1 for 2, HBP), Francisco Lindor (2 for 2), Tyler Naquin (1 for 2), Jose Ramirez (2 for 2), and Carlos Santana (2 BB) have all reached base against Hendricks.

Indians: Corey Kluber (18-9, 3.14) takes the mound for the third time this World Series, becoming the first pitcher since Chris Carpenter in 2011 to make three starts in the Fall Classic. Kluber owns a 0.89 ERA this postseason and could become the first pitcher since Mickey Lolich in 1968 (Tigers) to win each of his three World Series starts. Cubs' career numbers vs. Kluber: Ben Zobrist (3 for 19), Anthony Rizzo (3 for 8), Jason Heyward (2 for 5), and David Ross (2 for 5) all have more than one hit against Kluber.

What to watch for

Cubs closer Aroldis Chapman has thrown 83 pitches over the last four days but is likely to be fully ready for another strong outing. He'll likely be joined by ace Jon Lester in the bullpen, who hasn't pitched out of the bullpen in a postseason game since 2007 with the Red Sox. His opponent? The Indians, who tagged him for two runs in 2/3 innings of work in Game 2 of the ALCS but was held scoreless over three innings out of the 'pen in Game 4.

Indians relievers Andrew Miller and Cody Allen will be fully rested after not pitching in Game 6. The duo has combined for a 0.31 ERA this postseason, striking out a combined 51 batters. Cleveland has not lost a game this season in which both have pitched (22-0, including postseason).The home team lost the last World Series Game 7 (Royals, 2014) but won the previous nine.
