Sound drifts down and back up

when watching a VOD movie, the sound drops slowly down to nothing and then slowly goes
back up to normal. has this been normal in their testing or could it be a problem with my box?
the TV channels sound is OK. I've got Fios cable.. TIA

this happens about every 3 to 5 minutes...

think I found the cure. before, we always used the box remote for the sound adjustment. at 40 to 60% setting the sound would go down and then back up. I just tried setting the sound on the box remote to max and then fine tuned the sound with the TV remote. that pill seemed to have cured my problem. Maybe the volume tuner on the box is sensitive.

    THANKS

the audio output on most boxes are very weak and have to be turned all the way up..this keeps box costs down and they figure most will run audio to their HT equip....don't forget your box is supplied by a AC/DC converter to 5 volts, so don't expect dazzling audio from the box..hope this helps
