Kodi 16 - Kodi freezes after I enable TV - currently trying IPTV66

    Hi guys,

My first post in this forum, hope I can contribute to it in the long term, now I've got an issue and would like some help if possible.

    Raspberry Pi 3
    Raspbian Jessie (OS)
    Stalker PVR (PVR Service)
    IPTV66 (IPTV Provider)
    Kodi 16.1 Jarvis

I followed the steps as per this link:
    http://kodiwizards.com/tag/how-to-se...-android-kodi/

After I enabled TV the kodi just freezes and goes into a black screen, I know that it has to load several data and channels.
    - Could it be just a memory issue?
    - Can this be fixed?

    Any suggestion appreciated.

Those are old instructions. Much of the information has been superseded. Look in the Kodi > PVR Client area...

please make sure that you follow all the steps as well double check your android box if it has enough memory to handle such volume of data request. not all android devices can handle it and it will come up with issues such mentioned and smoothness of the videos. hope this can help. Respect.

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the response, this was definitely a memory issue as I decided to run my Raspberry with OpenELEC and following the exact same steps described before the channels loaded no problem.
Not that bothered to keep trying on Raspbian.

    Cheers
